Winter Blues.....

We finally got a real blast of winter weather this week. It has been really cold for the last couple of days. The snow didn't last very long though. By mid-morning the rain washed it all away.

It was beautiful while it lasted, though.


Meanwhile, I'm still knitting...





The scarf is a simple ribbed pattern with a ruffled edgeing. The yarn is Koigu.

The hat...well, it was on last year's sale rack. I couldn't resist a $2.50 special. Anyway....I had to knit a scarf to match it.



and I've been quilting too.
